کاتالیست تیتانیوم دی اکسید ( تیتانیا ) به عنوان فوتوکاتالیست استفاده می شود. همچنین کاتالیست تیتانیوم دی اکسید به عنوان پایه کاتالیست، در صنایع رنگ، جوهر، پلاستیک، آرایشی و بعداشتی، مواد الکترونیکی، فیبرها و مواد محافظ UV استفاده می شود.
